Refund Policy

This policy explains our first-purchase guarantee, subscription cancellation and how refunds are handled through Paddle.

Effective and last updated: 13 October 2026

30-day first-purchase guarantee. If your first paid Impressa purchase is not right for you, you may request a refund within 30 calendar days of that first transaction, subject to the conditions below and any stronger rights provided by applicable law.

1. Paddle processes payments and refunds

Paddle is the Merchant of Record for Impressa purchases. Refunds are normally returned through Paddle to the original payment method. Paddle may request transaction information or apply its buyer-support procedures.

2. First-purchase guarantee

The 30-day guarantee applies to a customer's first paid Impressa transaction, whether that transaction is a one-off document unlock or the first payment for a subscription. It is intended to let a genuine first-time customer try the paid service with confidence.

3. One-off document and PowerPoint purchases

A one-off unlock grants access for the specific document identified at checkout. If a technical failure prevents the purchased export from being delivered and we cannot resolve the problem within a reasonable time, contact us so we can help with a replacement export or refund. Repeated or abusive refund requests after successful use may be declined to the extent permitted by law.

4. Subscriptions

You can cancel a recurring subscription to stop future renewals. Cancellation does not normally refund time already used in the current billing period unless the first-purchase guarantee, a technical failure or applicable law provides otherwise.

5. Renewals

Subscription renewal charges are generally non-refundable once a renewal period has started, except where required by law or where Paddle or Impressa determines that a refund is appropriate. If you did not intend to renew, contact Paddle or us as soon as possible.

6. Abuse and fraud

We may reject fraudulent, duplicate or abusive refund requests, including deliberate attempts to obtain repeated paid exports without payment, where permitted by law. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights.

7. Mandatory consumer rights

This policy does not replace rights that cannot legally be waived. If applicable consumer law gives you stronger cancellation, repair, replacement or refund rights, those rights apply.

8. How to request a refund

  1. Use the transaction or subscription-management link in your Paddle receipt or Paddle Buyer Support.
  2. Provide the email address used for the purchase and the relevant transaction details.
  3. You may also email hello@impressadoc.com and we will help identify the transaction and route the request appropriately.

9. Effect of a refund

If a purchase is fully refunded, the related paid entitlement or subscription access may be removed when the refund is approved or processed. Documents you created remain subject to the Terms of Service and account-retention settings.
